A majority of people in a position to influence change, and make things happen, are so focused on the day to day, that improvement projects are often an after thought. They are so overwhelmed by problems that they have not got time to solve problems! Not willing or being able to trust the capabilities of others and motivated by being seen as the one that sorts the problems out. They are the resident super-hero, hard working, conscientious and always the last to leave at the end of a shift. For the company it is frustrating, as the leader is not living the values and behaviour expected and suppressing talent.
The workforce become frustrated by recurring problems and waiting on decisions and solutions from the “expert”. The leader gets stressed and works excessive hours to meet demands, paying little attention to individual needs. All this leads to a lack of respect, no change of culture to company expectations and deteriorating performance and morale.

Stuck Projects
Understanding why projects are not progressing is difficult to pin point when you are in the thick of it. It can also be extremely sensitive and political when a lot is at stake. You will receive an independant view of projects that are not progressing for some reason. We will identify why and provide an objective base for recovery. We can help address this sensitively and confidentially providing a 3rd party view that is emotionally detached.
Lean six sigma leadership coaching
Many companies invested in training for individuals to learn the tools and techniques of continuous improvement. Learning the tools is one thing, puting it into practice is another. The expectations put onto an individual after they have received training in the hard tools and techniques can be overwhelming for some. The softer side of people engagement, influencing (with integrity through coaching techniques) process owners, champions and stakeholders is often overlooked as a skill set. The consequences are failed project, demotivated individual, credibility dented and a reluctance for anyone else to get involved. It is all very well going on a training course learning a load of tools and techniques but the real learning is in the doing. Having a coach provides a conscience and a safety net for developing into a great lean six sigma practitioner. Only then will the organisation and the individual realise the benefit of investment.
