ILM Level 5 Coaching and Mentoring
The Level 5 qualification in Coaching and Mentoring is designed to support leaders in the development of management coaching and mentoring skills, and identifying the links between coaching, mentoring and the achievement of business goals. The level of coaching practice expected is at least middle management level.
For the fully taught version there are 7 days classroom learning covering units:
D5.01 Understanding how management coaching and mentoring can benefit individuals and organisations
D5.02 Review own ability as a management coach or mentor
D5.03 Undertaking management coaching or mentoring in the workplace
There is also a “blended learning” approach where the classroom days are reduced to 3 days and additional learning is accessed at your convenience through an internet portal with QED Ltd
Post the four days of training you will be required to build up a coaching log of 12 hours work based coaching. Along the journey to achieving the award you will receive 121 coaching tutorials and "supervised sessions" from a dedicated tutor.
