Lean is good for business, right?
09/09/2010
The past decade has seen the adoption of lean as a way of reducing cost and improving performance. Not just in manufacturing where it originated but across any sector any function - Lean in Healthcare, Lean in Police forces, Lean in HR, Lean in transportation, etc., it has somehow got to the point that if an initiative or project has the word lean then it has to be good for business, right?
- Has your business applied Lean in a systematic way, aligning projects to business objectives that deliver value to an end user or customer in efforts to grow the business?
- Has your business managed to gain the support of the majority with a passion for getting change implemented quickly?
- Has your business developed a methodology that everyone follows in efforts to eliminate root cause to problems?
- Is your business able to confirm that a project has been successful and delivered the benefits you set out to achieve - on time in budget?
If your answer is a non hesitant YES then you clearly have an internal consultancy approach. If not then you may like to take a look at the Certificate in Management Consulting Essentials - Consultancy Skills Course.
